Hi Stencil Lovers!
Are you starting to get the feel of all that StencilGuts can do for you?
When I opened up my package I was in my element.
I enjoy all the little details and shapes and possibilities they offered.
I immediately went to sorting them in many piles.
The flourishes are some of my favorites
I moved them around on black paper to see what I liked.
Kind of like a kaleidoscope...twists and turns...
I never knew what was going to pop up next!
I call this auditioning.
I took some of the geometric shapes
and used stamps on them with a permanent ink.
Some phrases and words as well as shapes and designs.
There are a lot of possibilities here for making cards and scrapbook layouts.
With the flourish guts I made a Daily cover...
The steps loosely went like this....
Well, That was Fun!
I had experimented with adhering the shapes to my book cover with these circles.
I used tacky glue, super glue, E-6000, crystal effects and my Xyron
and let them all dry.
(that's my first row of 5 circles across)
Every one of those adhesives worked great.
The only differences were mess and drying time.
So I continued adhering them with my Xyron Sticker Maker machine.
It was by far the easiest.
I played a LOT with gluing shapes into fun designs.
I made several into divider covers for my 3 ring planner
including this vase of flowers and the little abstract piece.
I LOVE them added into my planner!
I LOVE them added into my planner!
I like this one alot. The little squiggle shapes are fascinating!
How about the sunshine and the stone wall?
Seriously! So much fun to create with!
Here is a list of the stencils I used along with the StencilGuts....

Pam Carriker's Journal Texture #2
MB Shaw's Classic Stencil Font Alphabet
