Art Journal Every Day

I was so excited to work in my new Daily!
I fill every page, including the inside covers.
The first page's paper is not the good watercolor paper
that is in the rest of the book.
And I've got this thing about hands.
I have traced my hand many times in each of my Daily's....
It's a great design element!
(reminds me of kindergarden)

 And then the second spread......

I was playing with some of the supplies that came in my
Art Journal Every Day: December kit from Cocoa Daisy.
I never used gelatos before.
Or the Maya Mist.
And those number stamps are cool!

My Daily 5 starts on November 6th.

Which brings me to today. Friday November 9th.
I began writing some thoughts on gratitude...
and will finish it off tonight...
as the day ends.

And I leave you with a parting shot of my messy workspace.
Sometimes I just have to let it go.
There are quilts to quilt
and laundry to fold.
Somethings gotta give...

Oh well...
There is time enough to clean before company comes at Christmas!

    1. Hi Cindy! Thank you! I use a moleskine Watercolor Notebook sized 8.25"x5". Thats what I started with and I like them all lined up together, the same size...so I will probably stay with that forever! Love you dearheart! Have a great weekend!

  2. Your pages are lovely, full of colour and pattern and so much to look at. I've just ordered some gelatos myself and can't wait to get my hands on them.

    1. Hi Teddi, Thanks for all your comments! Wow! I LOVE the maya mist. I have always used glimmer mists and they are thinner, more water like...but the maya mist is a thicker consistency but really sprays well. Newly in love with them! The gelatos in the kit were gold and silver. I am not 100% sold on them yet. They are like lipstick, creamy and thick. But they smooshed around under my fingers pretty easily. I'm just not sure how to use them yet. I have some neocolor II watercolor crayons that I absolutely LOVE! The gelatos are very different from those. I will weigh in when I have used the gelatos more. Thanks again for reading through my blog! Art is like therapy! I NEED to do it. And I do it every day! Love ya!
