I am excited to try more stencils in my Daily Journal.
I am really drawn to this one called Marrakech Mix
by Michelle Ward.
It is such a classic shape.
I used Twinkling H2O's and a black gel pen for most of it.
Throw in some colored gel pens and some Glaze Pens.....
My big mistake on this page was using that black gel pen.
I spread some Crystal Lacquer over the shape
and it smeared the black lines terribly.
I think it would have worked better using the Pigma Pen.
Oh well.
On to the next spread.....
Doodling like this is one of my favorite things...
It is Zen.
Another stenciled border.
Andrew Borloz' Wheel Spokes Set #2.
Just one line of it.
I used another stencil as the basis for this page.
Terri Stegmiller's Waves 6.
The movement of it reminded me of waving flags.
I wanted to do something different than a regular flag.
Here's to the Land of the Free
and the Home of the Brave.
Fabulous pages, Janet. Love your doodling a whole lot!
