Documented Life Project

I just returned from a Soul Comfort Retreat
with my Brave Girl Friends in Idaho.
Dawn made the add-on to the left for my planner.
This was the first time we met in person.
It was fun to share our DLP's with each other and with the whole group.
We might have made a few converts there!
My Brave Girl Sisters rock!
The challenge for week 8 was ...a flap on a flap.
I found this beautiful Boise Postcard for my first flap.
The second flap was a label from some wool I found at a quilt shop.
And how about that vintage photo of the little cowboys!
It's actually Brigid's business cards.
On the underside of the flap is the business card of the store I bought my boots in!
Also hiding is a miniature rendition of Melody's birdcage...
......Never Here Again.....

And since we are documenting our lives here....
I made a little friend named Jackson
and he was so proud of the Phineas tattoo on his hand...
and he wanted me to draw it.
Awwwww......
I will always remember the precious conversation we had.
Boise was pretty spectacular!

Week 9's challenge was to collage something you recycled.

I pretty much used all the leftovers on my art table
along with airline ticket stubs and baggage claim stickers.

And the plastic hang tag from my new boots!

I love my DLP!

More on my trip later!
Happy Arting!
