You, Me & the Sea Art Retreat

The retreat in Seaside, Oregon in the studio of Alisa Burke was great fun.

Pretty much we drew sea shells several ways,

then shaded seashells and then watercolored seashells.

Now this is my idea of a vacation!

Alisa Burke is a real sweetheart.

She is so confident and talented.

It was just a pleasure spending a few days with her in her environment.

Eye Candy was everywhere.

Alisa has a bright and colorful style.

She paints and draws and sews and carves.

 

One afternoon we went to the beach to draw and observe and beachcomb.

The best part was doing the class with 3 of my very dear friends.

It was just a little slice of heaven!

Flat Lisa even came for the trip. :)

I think she enjoyed herself!

 

I think I am addicted to art retreats!

I cannot wait until my next one!
